Nominations have been released for the 2011 Caulfield Sprint, which will take place at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday October 15, 2011.

18 horses are nominated for the Caulfield Sprint, which has a horse racing field limit of 16 runners plus four emergencies.

Included in the Caulfield Sprint 2011 nominations is Peter Snowden’s Sepoy, who is fresh off his last start win in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes on September 30, 2011.

Sepoy has won eight of his nine race starts, including all three legs of the Blue Diamond series and the $3.5 million Golden Slipper.

Stablemate Beaded is also making her spring racing debut in the 2011 Caulfield Sprint after an impressive winter carnival campaign in Brisbane this year.

Beaded won the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 during the winter and finished a close second in both the $1 million Stradbroke Handicap and Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara.

The six-year-old mare has won more than $1.5 million during her career and has won ten of her 22 career starts.

Also included in the 2011 Caulfield Sprint nominations are Buffering, Decision Time, Eagle Falls and Mid Summer Music.
